Rethinking Strategy in 2021

Given the global developments of the past several years, and the economic, political, environmental, and social challenges we face today, it seems appropriate to step back and consider the role that Strategy can play. What should strategists think and do? How is this different from the way Strategy has been practiced in the past? The questions are applicable for any public or private sector institution driving toward a mission.

This week I had the distinct pleasure of moderating a panel discussion called “Rethinking Strategy in 2021” featuring Joseph Jaworski, the founder and CEO of strategy consultancy Generon International; and Cat Tully, founder of the School of International Futures. The panel was part of a program called Humanity Rising, created by Ubiquity University.

Here’s a link to the recording of the session. I invite fellow strategy nerds to reflect on the provocative comments from the panelists. Please share your thoughts here as well!
