I’m Jon Sappey.

I believe we can leverage some extraordinarily powerful aspects of our humanity to strengthen businesses and other organizations:

The four core principles of my practice are:

1. Be of service to C-Level leaders and leadership teams in their development.
2. Leverage the power of narrative to create context, shared purpose, and empowerment in their organizations, enabling them to scale.
3. Design opportunities for effective collaboration/co-creation among team members, which will both produce higher quality solutions and enhance team dynamics.
4. Build ongoing discipline within the team to embrace leadership responsibility, as well as authority.

I’ve worked in the tech sector for 20+ years and watched companies grow from start-up to mid-size to IPO. The progression through stages of the corporate life cycle — and the evolving strategic, leadership, and organizational challenges at each stage — is particularly fascinating to me.

My home is Chester County, Pennsylvania where I enjoy caring for our old farm house, reading, playing my piano (badly), and working out with a whole bunch of crazy people.
